Conditions of Participation: Entering the contest by submitting an Entry (as defined below) constitutes Entrants agreement to abide by, adhere to, and be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules. As an Entrant, you represent and warrant that you meet full eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept and be bound by all decisions made by Drool University, LLC in relation to this contest and selection of winners. Entrants must also agree to terms outlined in the Photograph/Video Release section in order to participate in this contest.
Timing: The Entry period will begin on the 1st day of each month at 12:01 a.m. and run until the 25th day of each month. All submissions must be in by 11:59 p.m. on the 25th of each month.
Eligibility: The contest is intended for legal U.S. residents who are located in the United States at the time of entry. The person entering the pet into the contest must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The pet may be any age. Entrants not meeting the eligibility requirements will be disqualified.
How to Enter: During the Entry Period, Entrant must submit a photograph of pet’s best slinger. A slinger is defined as a stream of drool that hangs from a pet’s jowls. Photos of slingers on walls, furniture, etc. will be accepted, however, these shots must be accompanied by a photograph of the pet. This may be a separate photograph submitted via the same email for tracking purposes. One entry per month, per pet. An owner of multiple pets may submit one entry per month, per pet. Altered photographs will not be accepted. Any person suspected of entering an altered photo will be disqualified from the contest and may not enter future contests. Selection of Winner and Notification: A winner will be chosen and announced on the last day of each month. The winner will be posted on the website and notified via the email address they used to enter. Drool University, LLC shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notification due to winner’s spam or junk mail filters or other security settings or for winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. Winner has 5 days from date of notification to reply to Drool University™ via email with prize selection and a valid mailing address.
Prizes: Drool University, LLC will award one grand prize by the last day of each month. The winner will select one of three prizes: a $25 PetSmart gift card, a $25 Petco gift card, or a free Drool University™ T-shirt of their choice. The current month’s winner will also be featured on the website and earn a spot on the Drool Master’s Wall of Fame! The pet’s name, age, owner’s first name only, and home state will be posted on the website (this is a condition of entering the contest).
Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of entries.
Limitations of Liability and Release: By entering this contest, Entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Drool University, LLC and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, officers, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, employees, volunteers (Collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim, damage, or cause of action out of or in connection with the Entrant’s participation in the contest. Entrants further agree that in any cause of action, the Released parties’ liability shall be limited to the Entrant’s cost of entering and participating in the contest and in no event shall the Released parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Entrants waive the right to claim any additional damages whatsoever, including but not limited to punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages. By Entering the contest, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability for injuries, death or losses or damages to persons or property AS WELL AS CLAIMS/ACTIONS BASED ON COPYRIGHT, INTELLICTUAL PROPERTY INFRINGEMENT, MISAPPROPRIATION, PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY.
Use of Data: Sponsor may collect personal data about Entrants in accordance with its privacy policy. By entering the Contest, Entrants acknowledge and agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s the privacy policy.
Rights granted by Entrant: By entering this contest and providing images you understand that Drool University, LLC and anyone authorized to act on behalf of Drool University, LLC or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your entry, including, without limitation, the entry and winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Contest, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
